CottSuite apps are built with privacy as a core principle. This policy applies to all apps published under the CottSuite name, including The Professional, The Garage, The Inventory, The Home, and The Search.
Your data stays on your device. We can't see your data. We don't sell anything. Some apps include optional AI features — when you use them, the content you explicitly submit is routed through a secure CottSuite proxy to Anthropic's API. We do not store it.
All data you enter into CottSuite apps is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is synced via Apple's iCloud infrastructure using end-to-end encryption. CottSuite has no access to your iCloud data, not even in aggregate.
CottSuite apps do not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers except as described in the AI Features section below. We do not use analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or any third-party tracking inside the apps. We do not have access to any data stored in the app.

The Garage, The Inventory, The Home, and The Search include optional AI-powered features such as maintenance schedule generation, job description parsing, and document drafting.
What is sent: Only content you explicitly submit for AI processing — for example, a job description you share, a question about your home's HVAC, or a request to draft a cover letter. Your background data (pipeline board entries, item lists, log history) never leaves your device.
How it works: AI requests are routed through ai.cottsuite.app, a proxy operated by CottSuite, to Anthropic's API. CottSuite's proxy does not log or store request content.
Anthropic: does not train on data submitted via the API. Their privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.
AI features are optional. All CottSuite apps function fully without them.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. CottSuite does not have access to your payment information at any point.
This website (cottsuite.app) uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits. This service does not use cookies and does not track individuals across sites. No personal data is collected. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
CottSuite apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy as our apps evolve. The current version will always be available at cottsuite.app/privacy.html. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page.
